Congratulations to Sophia for being chosen as the Wise Owl of February. Not only does Sophia strive to be a stellar student, she tries her best to be a caring citizen as well! She is always there to include others, help those who need it and share freely.
She is a peaceful leader who leads by example. Sophia is a role model for others because of who she is not just what she does. We appreciate all the different forms that leaders come in and we are very inspired by Sophia!

Welcome to Grade 4!

This is Hermione, my dear cat who enjoys relaxing on my bed. :)

It is with great pleasure that I welcome everyone to a new year! Grade 4 is a special year that marks the transition to intermediate. You will experience many changes this year including physical, intellectual, emotional and social. It will be a year unlike any other! It will be full of new adventures, friends, clubs, subjects as well as new challenges to be conquered.

At this time we focus on the most important factors for success: healthy habits and routines. Having a proper bedtime of 8:30/9:00 pm, eating healthy, exercising and reading are important at this time of year. Make sure you have labelled all school supplies. Please drop by and meet all the teachers. We appreciate your involvement. Research shows that families who are involved in their child's life at school do better in school. I look forward to meeting you all!

Sincerely,
Ms. Dosanjh

Congratulations to Japneet for being chosen as the Wise Owl of March! She has shown outstanding leadership in the classroom. She is always willing to help others in any way she can. She even stays in during her breaks to support her peers or teacher. I am very grateful for her contributions to our class. She truly believes in the Golden Rule. I hope Division 8 and others can be inspired by her example. May we all strive to be a caring helper just like Japneet.

It is with great joy that I share about Arman, our Wise Owl of February!  Arman is one of those leaders who always strives to do the right thing no matter who is watching. He is extremely helpful and is always ready to assist those in need. He is skillful in many areas and shares his gifts with others. He works hard at all he does and demonstrates a very positive attitude. Arman is an avid Harry Potter fan so he is especially proud to have Hedwig visit him. We are all so proud of Arman! Thank you for inspiring us to do our best and help others!
